The co-founder and CTO of Genia Photonics in 2009 has over 25 years of experience in photonics.

In 1994, he became a tenured professor at the COPL of Université Laval, in Québec City.

In 2000, he joined ITF Optical Technologies Inc. as the Vice-President for Advanced Research.

In 2006 he founded Optav Solutions which became GeniaPhotonics to develop optical fiber lasers for the medical, environmental and industrial markets.

He has published more than 70 papers, more than 170 oral presentations, as well as 18 patents, including 12 at Genia Photonics.
