Bill Parker is an entrepreneur and inventor specializing in finding or developing near-term applications for advanced technologies. He has founded or partnered in over a dozen companies that have attracted in excess of $125M in investment capital. Originally trained as a plasma physicist (and inventor of the plasma ball), he has extensive background in lasers, electro-optics, and integrated nano/micro systems. His work has increasingly focused on reaping the benefits of a multi-discipline approach to problem solving in the medical and biotech fields. His undergraduate and graduate degrees are from MIT and the MIT Media Laboratory.
